2018 Alf Luckman Memorial Fish & Chips Run Set for Saturday 6th January
The perennially popular Alf Luckman Memorial Fish & Chips Run will be held on Saturday the 6th of January, 2018. We will meet at the Bull & Bush Hotel before taking a drive to Berowra Waters for a relaxed and social picnic. Read on for the details.

Meet: The Bull & Bush Hotel, Cnr Windsor & Seven Hills Rd Baulkham Hills
Time: 4.00 pm for a 4.30pm departure
Traditionally this is the opening event for the MGCC Sydney – All members welcome. The vehicle you arrive in is your choice. All the better if it is an MG, but that is not essential.
For those who wish to travel in a convoy to the destination, which again is Berowra Waters Picnic Area, we leave The Bull & Bush at 4:30 pm, with an estimated arrival time of just after 5:00pm
Maps and directions of the route to Berowra will be provided, for those that require them, however the route is easily obtained from a Navman or similar device. Most participants from the northern suburbs seem to elect to take the Pacific Highway to Berowra and then follow Berowra Waters Rd down to the Punt, cross the river and assemble at the picnic area.
Parking is plentiful, however we will not be congregated in one area, but scattered in groups within the parking area. BYO food, enjoy the locally available fish & chips or other take away delicacies. Three BBQs are available, at a nominal charge, for those who wish to cook their own. Seating is limited in the fixed undercover shelters, so please bring your own fold up chairs and tables. Enjoy the cool of the evening, and wine and dine with the other MGCC members.
