On Wednesday, the 20th of March, 2019, we caught up at Glenorie Bakery in Glenorie for our monthly Mid-Week Muster. The very kind team at the bakery organised a photographer from Ascend Studios to cover our event, and club photographer Ingo Weinberger has also shared some images of the day. Enjoy their photos below.
Hosted as always by Bob Parkinson, the mid-morning event kicked off with a run starting at McDonald’s Westmead. We took a meandering route to enjoy our cars and the cool, if a little soggy, weather, before the full group gathered at Glenorie Bakery. There we enjoyed good company, delicious food and warm hospitality as we caught up to share tales of life, MGs and everything.
“Six MGs and two others met at Westmead McDonald’s for a run to the bakery. It was the usual suburban driving until Round Corner in Dural, when we took a left to Annangrove Road. Three miles on and Bob Parkinson had once again found great driving roads that took us through Marayla and Cattai Ridge.”
“There was a great turn-out for the Mid-Week Muster, challenging even the weekend runs in number. Glenorie Bakery was a good find, with the pie being a particular favourite.” – Ingo Weinberger
Enjoy these photos from the day, with thanks to Ascend Studios and Glenorie Bakery.
As well as these, with thanks to Ingo Weinberger
