The 2020 Alf Luckman Memorial Fish & Chips Run

The Alf Luckman Memorial Fish & Chips Run is a relaxed, social event that is traditionally the opening event of each year for the MGCC Sydney.

All members are most welcome, and the vehicle in which you arrive is your choice. All the better if it is an MG, but that is not essential. This is a social event, designed to meet other MGCC members, discuss cars, politics, or what ever is your interest.

For those who wish to travel in convoy to the destination, which again is Berowra Waters picnic area, we will meet at the Bull & Bush parking area off Windsor Rd. at 4:00pm. We leave at 4:30pm with an estimated arrival time of just after 5:00pm at Berowra Waters. The drive is quite picturesque, fully sealed and easy to navigate.

Maps and directions of the route to Berowra will be provided, for those who require them, however the route is easily obtained from a phone, Navman or similar device.

Most participants from the northern suburbs elect to take the Pacific Highway to Berowra and then follow Berowra Waters road down to the Punt, cross the river and assemble at the picnic area.

Parking is easily available in the public car park, however we will not be assembled in one area, but scattered in groups within the available spaces.

Bring your own food, enjoy the locally available fish & chips or other take away delicacies. Three barbecues are available, for a nominal charge, for those who wish to cook.

Seating is limited in the fixed undercover shelters, so please bring your own fold up chairs and tables.

Enjoy the cool of the evening as you wine and dine with other MGCC members.
