Alf Luckman Memorial Fish & Chips Run Postponed To 30th January, 2021
Due to NSW Health COVID-19 restrictions currently in place limiting outdoor gatherings to 30 people, the Alf Luckman Memorial Fish and Chip Run is postponed until January 30th 2021, subject to relaxation of these restrictions.
NSW Health is set to review the current COVID restrictions on January 14th 2021. Following their announcement, a decision will be made on the event. If the numbers remain at 30, the event will be cancelled. Should the number increase to 50 or more, the event will go ahead.
As the run usually attracts 70 or so participants, we will need to have a clear indication of numbers attending and pre-booking will be required. The number attending will be strictly capped at the level allowed by NSW Health at the time.
A further running board will be sent out to confirm details for the run following the NSW Health announcement when we know what restrictions will apply.
Information about the run can be obtained on the Club website or in the last two issues of Opposite Lock.
Meanwhile, for those wishing to attend, please contact me with your name and the numbers in your party by January 25th, 2021.
