Come Fly with Us to the Historical Aircraft Restorers Society ‘HARS’ aviation museum

By now if you were planning to join us for the run to HARS, the Historical Aircraft Restorers Society on Sunday the 21st of February, 2021, you will have made your booking through the MGCC portal.

Meet: 9:00am Bald Hill Lookout, Stanwell Tops.

If coming from Sydney, take the Lawrence Hargrave Drive exit 8km south of Waterfall. Follow Lawrence Hargrave Drive for 5 km to the STOP sign, after which bear left up to Bald Hill Lookout: Flying High Café (please do not bear right as mistaken in earlier flyers). There, you can meet with everyone and buy a coffee – plenty of parking and clean amenities.

Departure: 9:30 departure along the Old Princes Hwy, Lawrence Hargrave, Grand Pacific Drives and the spectacular Seacliff Bridge to finally rejoin the M1 to reach the HARS museum at Albion Park.

At HARS we will enjoy a guided tour of the vintage & classic aircraft in the museum, plus cockpit visits. The exhibits include flying and static aircraft as well as those under restoration. Depending on weather in the days leading up to the run there may also be an opportunity to photograph your cars on the apron next to an aircraft.

Cost: Museum entry, guided tour & sandwich pack and drink lunch in Café Connie $30.00

Note: Cafe Connie can do a full lunch pack featuring sandwich pack, fruit, cake and drink for an additional $5 payable at the museum:

For catering purposes, please advise me ASAP if you would prefer the full lunch pack at the museum, or they will assume that you are choosing the basic sandwich/drink pack.
